Saint Dominic Catholic School has been serving the Kingsport community since 1945. We welcome all children...all faiths! While we are a Catholic school, all children are loved here regardless of faith. We only hope you will feel comfortable enough to feel welcome...as Jesus welcomed all the little children.
You will be known...you will be loved.
Our school has a long reputation of preparing students in challenging academics, friendships, manners, and physical well-being. All teachers are licensed with many holding advanced degrees. Our curriculum is enhanced with project based learning: hands-on science experiments, journeys in social studies, book clubs, math constructions, and more! Technology enhances our programs with Smart Boards and computers or iPads in every classroom. Safety is of utmost importance to us. Our building is secured with electronic doors monitored by the front office, principal's office, and school age care area. Fire, bad weather, and intruder drills are planned by specialists and practiced by the students and staff. All employees and volunteers of our school complete “Safe Environment Curriculum”, a national program used in Catholic schools and churches.
