At St. Dominic School, we cherish the values of unity, peace, and spiritual growth within our diverse community. Today, we're excited to share an inspiring opportunity with you - "Mondays for Mary."
What is "Mondays for Mary"?
"Mondays for Mary" is a special time each week to honor and seek the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is an open invitation to our entire community, regardless of your faith background. All are welcome to join us!
The Beauty of the Rosary:
The Rosary is a centuries-old Catholic prayer tradition that holds universal significance. It is not just about religion; it's about connecting with our spiritual selves and finding moments of inner peace. Here's why you might consider joining us:
1. A Moment of Serenity: The Rosary offers a peaceful and meditative experience, allowing us to take a step back from the busyness of life.
2. Universal Values: The themes explored in the Rosary - love, compassion, faith, and hope - are values that resonate with people from all walks of life.
3. Sense of Community: When we come together in prayer, we strengthen the bonds that unite us as a school and church community, fostering understanding and respect for one another.
When & Where:
Every Monday at 1:00 pm, we gather near the statue of Mary in the school's gym lobby. Please enter through the main entrance.
We Invite You:
Whether you're well-acquainted with the Rosary or just curious, we invite you to join us for "Mondays for Mary." Feel free to bring your own rosary beads if you have them, or simply bring your open heart. No prior experience is necessary; we'll guide you through the prayer.
We are excited to create a space where we can come together, share moments of reflection, and build connections.
